Year Round Camp Overview
When school is out, kids can spend the day exploring, experimenting, and getting their hands dirty at Riverbend.
Year-Round Camp gives kids ages 5–10 a screen-free day filled with hikes, outdoor exploration, crafts, science experiments, games, and hands-on discovery. Each camp day is grounded in nature-based STEM and led by Riverbend’s experienced educators, with plenty of time for kids to move, explore, play, and follow their curiosity.
Choose the location that works best for your family: Riverbend's preserve in Gladwyne or McKaig Nature Center in King of Prussia.

Campers spend the day exploring Riverbend’s preserve, with the Farmhouse serving as our home base. Days may include hiking the trails, exploring the stream and ponds, searching for insects, conducting science experiments, making nature-inspired crafts, and plenty of outdoor play.
Cost: $135 per day
McKaig Nature Center
Campers spend the day exploring McKaig Nature Center’s 91 acres of woods, with the Old Roberts Schoolhouse serving as our home base. Days may include hiking the trails, stream-stomping, searching for insects, conducting science experiments, making nature-inspired crafts, and plenty of outdoor play.
Cost: $99 per day

Year Round Camp Requirements
Campers should be:

Ready to explore, play, and try new things outside
What to Bring
Campers should come ready for a full day outside. Please pack weather-appropriate clothing, a change of clothes and shoes, a bagged lunch in a cooler bag that does not require refrigeration or heating, and 1–2 snacks.
During warmer weather, campers may explore the stream, so clothes and shoes that can get wet are encouraged.
