Rose Falletta

Rose is so excited to join the team at Riverbend as an Environmental Education fellow! A Lehigh Valley native, Rose recently graduated with honors from Lehigh University with a major in earth and environmental science and a minor in music, and strives to make science accessible to all communities through her work. She researches tropical aroids and their functional trait interactions within the light gradients of the tropical understory, and presented her research in the form of a senior honors thesis this past May. Rose also previously worked at the Lehigh Valley Zoo as a camp counselor, where she discovered how much she loves working with kods and getting them excited about our natural world. She can’t wait to bring her enthusiasm for nature to Riverbend’s mission and curate her lifelong passion for the environment!
