Matilda Kitabwalla

Matilda joined Riverbend in 2022 as an Environmental Education Fellow, where she discovered her passion for connecting children and families to nature through hands-on learning. She went on to serve as Riverbend’s Camp Director, leading one of the region’s most beloved nature-based summer camps. Now, as Marketing Manager, Matilda combines her background in environmental science, education, and communications to share Riverbend’s mission with a wider audience. She is passionate about environmental storytelling, community building, and making outdoor education accessible and inclusive for all.
