Field Trips for Pre-K and Kindergarten

For young children, sensory exploration creates lasting impressions. Our lessons for this age group include an array of activities that focus on the senses, allowing children to create an awareness and appreciation for the textures, scents, sights and sounds of nature. We offer the following programs for young learners:

Animal Homes
Through games and exploration, students learn that every creature needs food, water, shelter and space to survive in nature. Throughout the lesson, students discover holes, nests and other signs of wildlife.

Fur, Feathers, Slimey and Scaley
What is the difference between a mammal and a bird, or reptile and amphibian? After this lesson, your students will know! With artifacts, live animals and nature exploration, students will explore the exciting groups of the animal kingdom.
