Riverbend Environmental Education Programs provide content that addresses Pennsylvania Academic Standards as well as Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
All Riverbend Educators are trained in Environmental Education and have completed clearances for working with children.

Riverbend field trips can be offered at our 30 acre nature preserve or Saunder's Woods, a 25 acre preserve also located in Gladwyne. Riverbend partners with Natural Lands Trust to offer Saunders' Woods. This experience can offer a more challenging experience for older students or students who have visited Riverbend in the past.

Take exit 16. Follow signs for Conshohocken, Rt. 23.At end of exit ramp go right at light. At second light go right onto Rt. 23 East. Pass through five lights. Turn right at sixth light, onto Waverly Road. Natural Lands Trust's Saunders Woods preserve will be on the right. If you get to Rock Creek Road, you have gone too far.
