Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will guide your students through safe, educational activities that help them understand and appreciate the natural world. We strive to create programs that engage children and teachers alike while addressing the Pennsylvania Department of Education standards for Science and Technology, and Environment and Ecology.
In an effort to provide nature opportunities for more children, Riverbend has partnered with Natural Lands Trust’s Saunders Woods Preserve, located just down the road in Gladwyne, PA. Schools may now take field trips to either Riverbend or Saunders Woods. Check the program description to see if you program choice is offered at Saunders Woods.
