Nature Clubs

Nature Clubs at Riverbend

Do you want your children to experience nature on a regular basis?  Consider gathering a group of friends to form a Nature Club!  Riverbend is no longer offering our weekly programs, but we are happy to create something special for your group.  You can decide how many sessions, how often, and what you want to learn about.  These are perfect for Moms Groups, home school groups, or any friends that want to get together in nature.

What you need?

  • A group of at least five children ages 3-6, and their parents if you wish.
  • Decide how often you wish to meet, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Call or email Stacy Carr-Poole at 610-527-5234 x108 or scarr@riverbendeec.org.
  • Fees are based on number of children attending the club.

Nature Clubs at School

Schools can get in on the fun by bringing our Nature Clubs to you!  Consider hosting a weekly after-school Nature Club at your child’s school.  Programs can be adjusted to meet the needs of the schools, but sessions are typically six to ten weeks long and meet for one hour per week.  Contact Stacy Carr-Poole, Director of Education for more information (610-527-5234 x108 or scarr@riverbendeec.org).

Local schools that have hosted a Riverbend Nature Club:

  • Gladwyne Elementary
  • Merion Elementary
  • Conshohocken Elementary
  • Radnor Elementary
  • The Philadelphia School
