Part of Riverbend's mission is to help foster an awareness, appreciation and understanding of our total environment. In doing this, our goal is to help teachers get their students out of the classroom and into the outdoors teaming with opportunities to make science come to life. Whether it is getting wet in our stream or observing tadpoles in a stage of their metamorphosis, Riverbend students respond enthusiastically to our interactive programming. And when they are having fun while learning, children carry these lessons far into the future.
