Vine-a-thon 2008! - 04-29-2008 (11:07 am)

This year, over fifty volunteers from Ardmore Rotary, Rotaract Club of the Main Line, Interact, The Junior League of Philadelphia, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Shreiner Tree Care and Bartlett Tree Experts battled it out to remove the most five-leaf akebia and other inasive plant material.  Winning teams received eco-friendly prizes from sponsors including REI (Plymouth Meeting), EMS (Haverford), Redbud Native Plant Nursery (Glen Mills), Superfresh (Gladwyne) and Giant (Conshohocken).  Whole Foods of Wayne generously provided healthy, organic snacks.  Thanks all for your hard work and generosity!
