Go Green Gala 2008! - 06-04-2008 (05:30 pm)

Riverbend is delighted with the overwhelming success of the Go Green Gala on June 4th! Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and patrons, Riverbend raised more than $103,000 for our educational mission. Amid the backdrop of Haverford College’s Douglas B. Gardner Integrated Athletic Center, a stunning Gold Certified L.E.E.D. building, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception featuring locally grown and organic refreshments, live music, an engaging eco-inspired auction, educational displays and site tours. Many thanks to Beverly and Lu Galloway and Laura and Craig Scheuerle for Co-Chairing this winning event!

Volunteer's Mt. Rainier climb benefits Riverbend - 04-30-2008 (05:34 pm)

This August, Bill Read, Development Committee Member and longtime Riverbend supporter, will attempt to summit Mt. Rainier in Washington state.  Bill will tackle Mt.
