“The future will belong to the nature-smart -- those individuals, families, businesses and political leaders who develop a deeper understanding of the transformative power of the natural world, and who balance the virtual with the real.” Richard Louv, The Nature Principal.
Enterprise Volunteer Work Day
Supporters of Riverbend, contribute to the grassroots movement working to reverse the trend of recent generations who are disconnected from nature. Meaningful outdoor experiences directly benefit the well-being of children, from their physical and emotional health to their intellectual inquisitiveness. The life and earth sciences Riverbend teaches young students spark their curiosity and offer an excellent introduction to higher level science learning, so vital to our future. And while progress is being made, there is still much work to be done.
Summer Camp Discovery!

They will be the conservationists, proponents of alternative energy, sustainable farmers, and innovators who will transform our homes, workplaces and communities.
Please consider a gift to Riverbend at this time. You will help to sustain our work in 2014 so the children we reach will thrive and be nature-smart leaders in a rapidly changing environment. You will make a difference.
